Project Description

Streamline Aviation is by far the only way to go! I started out as a student pilot that went to your typical flight school to get my private pilot certificate. Due to work and other responsibilities, it took me almost a year to successfully become a private pilot. I would often have to retrain myself on maneuvers and such since some of the training had to be scheduled so far apart. This wasted much of my time and money having to be retrained on something that I had already learned. After purchasing my own airplane shortly after becoming a private pilot, everyone kept telling me that I needed to become an instrument pilot due to the sheer fact that it would make me a safer pilot for myself and others that flew with me. Once I decided that I wanted to become an instrument pilot I knew that I could not space my training out like I did when I was a student pilot. I began searching over the internet for an accelerated course and that’s when I found Streamline Aviation. I didn’t know much about them so I gave them a call and all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I had the opportunity to work with Matt Quillen who is the owner of the business and by far he is extremely knowledgeable with aeronautics, but he has experience in a multitude of aircraft. Matt was willing to travel to where my airplane was and the hospitality he provided was top-notch. What was amazing is that he was able to schedule my checkride before he even met me or looked in my logbook. That spoke volumes to me that he was able to have that much confidence as a flight instructor before the training ever began. Matt is very structured in his training which coming from a military background just like I did, he knew what had to be done to get the job done. So sure enough, on the 10th day I had my checkride and passed. It was probably the hardest thing I have ever done in my life and Matt sure made it look easy. Even today Matt is there for me if I need him and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks again!
